Bringing People Development Strategy into Real World
“The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.” Plutarch
This is the first time we have had a people development program at Acepodia. I am glad that the first “Leadership Development Course” ended this afternoon with many learning points and lots of laughter.
As the program owner and the event facilitator, I am glad to see the junior managers pause their works and engage in role-play, lecture, and workshop. It is uneasy about clearing your mind and trying something new, especially in a scale-up company, where people play many different roles in a rapidly changing working environment. I believe people trust me when they see my passion and effort.
Becoming a good leader starts from becoming a good learner. So in my three-year people development strategy, this is the first course I would like to bring to Acepodia Taiwan. And I think I am blessed to have this opportunity and resources to bring strategy into real world. Thanks for the support from my supervisor, YanDa Lai , thanks to the guidance from our People Development Advisor, Rosa Cheng , and thanks to the coach of today, Yu-Ting Wang.
Stay hungry, stay foolish.
